License & Usage Rights

All rights, copyright, title, and ownership of SmilelineCo products and original content remain with SmilelineCo or the applicable rights holder.

Purchasing a SmilelineCo product gives you a limited license to use the purchased files according to the terms below. Your purchase does not transfer copyright or ownership of the product to you.

Unless a product listing specifically states otherwise, the following license terms apply.

1. Personal Use License

SmilelineCo products are intended for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise stated.

You may:

  • Download the purchased files for your personal use.
  • Print the files for your own use.
  • Print reasonable copies for use within your own household.
  • Use the printed pages in your personal planner, binder, notebook, or organizational system.
  • Make reasonable personal backup copies of the files.

You may not:

  • Resell the original digital files.
  • Share, distribute, transfer, or give the digital files to another person.
  • Upload the files to websites, social media, file-sharing services, cloud storage with shared access, or other platforms where others can access them.
  • Offer the files as free downloads or giveaways.
  • Claim the designs or content as your own.
  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the files outside the permitted personal-use license.
  • Modify or alter the files for the purpose of creating, distributing, or selling derivative products.
  • Use the files or designs for commercial purposes without our prior written permission or an applicable commercial license.
  • Print and sell physical copies of SmilelineCo designs.

If multiple people in your household wish to use the same digital product, reasonable personal household use is permitted. Use by other individuals, businesses, organizations, classrooms, or schools requires an appropriate license.

2. Teacher & Classroom License

Teachers may use SmilelineCo products in their own classroom or homeschool setting subject to the following conditions:

  • The teacher must have personally purchased the applicable product.
  • The files may be printed for use by the teacher’s own students.
  • Printed copies may be distributed to students within that classroom or homeschool setting.
  • The original digital files may not be shared with students, parents, other teachers, schools, or other third parties.
  • Files may not be uploaded to Google Drive, Dropbox, school portals, learning management systems, websites, social media, or other platforms where unauthorized users may access them.
  • The files may not be edited, altered, or redistributed as modified digital files.
  • SmilelineCo copyright notices or attribution included in the original files must remain intact.
  • This license applies to one teacher and one classroom or homeschool setting unless otherwise stated.

If another teacher or classroom wishes to use the product, they must purchase their own license unless a broader license has been granted in writing.

For school-wide, district-wide, tutoring business, daycare, commercial education, or other larger-scale use, please contact us regarding appropriate licensing.

3. Bloggers & Content Creators

You may feature SmilelineCo products in your content for the purpose of reviewing, recommending, or discussing the product, provided that you do not distribute the actual files.

You may:

  • Show photographs or screenshots of a purchased product in your content.
  • Share one product image per product when linking directly to the relevant SmilelineCo product page.
  • Discuss or review the product in your own words.

You may not:

  • Share the digital files with your audience.
  • Provide download links to the files.
  • Upload the files to your website, newsletter, social media, community, or other platform for others to access.
  • Include the files in free or paid bundles, giveaways, memberships, courses, or other products.
  • Reproduce substantial portions of the product in a way that allows others to recreate or obtain the product without purchasing it.

4. Commercial Use & Extended Licensing

Personal-use purchases do not include commercial rights.

If you would like to use SmilelineCo products for:

  • A business
  • A paid service
  • A client project
  • A commercial classroom or educational business
  • A membership or subscription
  • A course or workshop
  • A resale product
  • A physical product for sale
  • Any other commercial purpose

please contact us before using the product.

We may grant additional permissions or offer a separate commercial license where appropriate.

5. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All SmilelineCo designs, templates, illustrations, graphics, text, product files, branding, and other original content remain protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a limited license to use the product. It does not grant you ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

Unauthorized copying, distribution, resale, or commercial use may result in termination of your license and may lead to further action where permitted by law.

6. License Violations

If you violate these license terms, SmilelineCo may revoke your license to use the affected product and may take other appropriate action available under applicable law.

You may be required to stop using, distributing, or selling unauthorized copies of SmilelineCo products.

7. Questions & Special Permissions

If you are unsure whether a particular use is permitted, please contact us before using or distributing the product.

We are happy to consider special requests and licensing arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
