Free Printable 2026 & 2027 Annual Calendar Pages | Personal Size Planner Inserts

I made this one for myself, honestly, before I ever thought about sharing it. I wanted a single printable planner insert in my Personal planner that could quietly hold the whole year, not another page to “fill in,” but somewhere I could jot one line a day and, by December, actually have something to look back on.

That’s what this printable annual calendar turned into: a year-at-a-glance record page that sits alongside your daily or weekly spreads and asks very little of you. Some days you’ll write a full sentence. Some days just a word. Either way works.

It comes as two free downloads, a 2026 printable calendar and a 2027 printable calendar , so you can start using it now and carry the exact same system into next year without redesigning anything.

What can you actually use this printable planner insert for?

The blank lined column next to each month is intentionally open-ended. This is what makes it more of a flexible printable record page than a strict calendar , a few ways I use mine, and ways readers have told me they use theirs:

  • Annual highlights — one line per date for the moments you don’t want to forget
  • Health tracking — symptoms, appointments, cycle notes, medication reminders
  • Mood log — a quick word or two each day to spot patterns over time
  • Reading log — the date you started or finished a book
  • Parenting notes — milestones, school events, things your kid said that made you laugh
  • Spending log — bigger purchases, or a running note of where money went

None of this requires you to commit to a “system.” You just write the date and a few words, and by December you have a surprisingly complete record of the year , the kind you’ll actually want to flip back through.

Product details

This printable planner insert is designed to fit right into your existing Personal size setup — no special binder needed, just your regular 6-ring planner.

  • Size: Personal size (fits a 6-ring Personal planner or binder)
  • Layout: Tri-fold, 3-panel design — each panel is one month

  • Two sheets = all 12 months
  • Trim size per sheet: 263 × 171 mm (after cutting)
  • Fold lines: each sheet has fold lines built into the design — just fold along them (front side facing out) to get the 3-panel layout, no measuring or guesswork needed
  • Format: PDF, designed to print on A4 paper at home

How I printed and cut my printable calendar pages

I printed both years on A4, 120gsm color paper — this is heavier than regular printer paper, so it holds up well to daily handling in a ring binder, but it’s still thin enough to punch holes through without trouble.

Steps are simple:

  1. Print the PDF on A4 paper (double-sided, so each sheet shows the front and back correctly lined up)
  2. Cut along the outer edges to trim the sheet down to 263 × 171 mm
  3. Fold along the printed fold lines, using the front side as your guide, to form the tri-fold shape
  4. Hole-punch to match your Personal ring size

That’s it — the fold lines are already printed on the page, so there’s no measuring involved.

For the cutting step, I personally used a craft knife with a ruler and cutting mat, mostly because I like very clean, sharp edges. That’s just my own habit, though — a paper cutter or even a good pair of scissors works fine too, as long as you can keep the lines straight. Use whatever you already have or feel most comfortable with. Here’s what’s in my own kit, in case it’s useful:
